Wedding Planning & Design

I haven't yet shared much of what I can do outside of flannelboard making. I love everything related to design...From Interior Design, to making special little gifts for people, to flannelboards, classroom materials and even wedding planning.  For my own wedding (back in 2004) I did all of the decor, including  the flowers.  Here are few examples. If you are ever interested in having me work on a project for you, let me know and we can work out a deal :)

Barnyard Banter

 I know it's been a while! Work and personal life have been crazy for me. I haven't had much time to do anything creative, let alone post about it!  Here is a flannelboard for Barnyard Banter.  This one takes a lot of painting skill, but it is a great story for Phonological Awareness! Very Quiet Cricket

I have spent the last 9 years as a support person for an Early Reading First Grant.  As a part of this grant, we made and help make classroom materials that would enrich literacy in the preschool classroom.  I have made zillions of flannelboard stories during this time, some with help from others (other blogs, preschool curriculum websites, and my student assistants.)  Today, I would like to show you one of my first and favorites, "The Very Quiet Cricket" by Eric Carle, who is easily my favorite children's book author/illustrator. First Time Blogger

Well, I have finally gotten around to creating my blog...Now I only have to remember to post to it every once in a while.  I thought I'd use this space to show off and share my creative endeavors, from flannelboard stories and classroom materials to design work and crafts.  Hope you enjoy!  For my first post, I will share some simple accessories that I made for my nephew Tony's room.
